Prism Planning Partners was established in 2018 by Ron Bernstein and Nicole Sullivan. The firm was driven by their vision to blend financial expertise with a focus on the human and emotional aspects of life planning.
With a deep commitment to multi-generational financial planning, Ron and Nicole aim to provide holistic, goal-oriented guidance to their clients. From young wealth-accumulators to those entering retirement, Prism offers comprehensive services tailored to every stage of life.

Co-Founder, Managing MemberRon Bernstein is the Co-Founder and Managing Member of Prism Planning Partners. Ron became a financial advisor in 2005 after working for years as a Certified Public Accountant and Chief Finance Officer of a publicly traded medical supply company. He then spent over 12 years as an advisor with a major financial services firm in the Chicagoland area. After over a decade of experience, alongside Nicole, he set out to create Prism to establish a different kind of financial planning experience, focusing on the human-centric side of money.

NICOLE SULLIVAN, CFP®, RMA®
Co-Founder, Chief Compliance Officer & Director of Financial PlanningNicole Sullivan co-founded Prism alongside Ron and has spent over a decade practicing holistic financial planning. Nicole is passionate about the multi-generational aspects of her work, and she loves helping millennials, business owners, and entrepreneurial women achieve their business and personal finance goals.
Nicole has been in the financial services industry since 2012 and has contributed her valuable insights to media outlets such as Bloomberg, MarketWatch, FinancialPlanning, USA Today, and CNBC. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Financial Planning major, and she is currently pursuing an Advanced Master’s in Financial Planning with a concentration in Estate Planning from Golden Gate University.

Chief Operating OfficerDan Peters is a seasoned CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional with almost 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Since 2005, he has served the diverse needs of families, professionals, and business owners. Dan joined Prism soon after its founding in 2018 and has become an indispensable part of the team. With a comprehensive knowledge of financial planning and a knack for understanding his clients’ priorities, he is committed to empowering them to achieve their goals and secure their financial well-being.
As the Director of Operations & Financial Planning, Dan works closely with individuals and businesses to address various financial issues. His expertise primarily lies in retirement planning and income protection, where he guides families and business owners in ensuring their financial security and making well-informed decisions for their futures.

Brandon has been a financial planner since 2012, and through his career has developed a unique expertise working with physicians and others in the medical field.He assists in-training, attending, and retiring physicians with their financial planning needs, and is a sought after speaker at major teaching hospitals across the United States, particularly in the Midwest.
Brandon helps physicians navigate the distinctive challenges they face in each stage of their careers, such as student loan planning, understanding loan forgiveness programs, transitioning into practice, contract negotiations, tax strategies, and balancing their income, lifestyle, savings, investments, and overall financial plan.
